Matter, Thread and Zigbee

Matter is the common language of the smart home, backed by Apple, Google, Amazon and Samsung — devices that support Matter work with Apple Home, Google Home and Alexa alike.

Thread is the low-power mesh network many Matter devices use: every mains-powered device strengthens the network, so it gets more reliable as you add more. Zigbee is the proven mesh standard behind millions of sensors, switches and bulbs.

Do I need to rewire my home for wireless automation?

No. Wireless automation on Matter, Thread and Zigbee needs no rewiring or wall breaking.

How long does a wireless installation take?

What happens if my Wi-Fi goes down?

Thread and Zigbee devices talk to each other over their own mesh network rather than your Wi-Fi, so wall controls and local automations keep working.
