Sliding or swing gates

Sliding gates use a motor beside the gate that drives a toothed rack; swing gates use arm or underground motors on each leaf. The right motor depends on the gate's weight, width and how often it's used — we size it for yours.

Safety beams (photocells) stop the gate if a car or a person is in the way. We recommend them on every automatic gate.

Already have a gate motor?

Most existing gate motors can be made smart by connecting a controller to the motor's control board — there's no need to replace a motor that works.

Can my existing gate motor be automated?

Usually, yes. Most gate motors can be made smart by connecting a controller to the motor's control board, so it opens from your phone, your voice or an automation.

Can I open the gate when I'm not at home?

Yes. Open it for a guest or a delivery from your phone, wherever you are, and get a notification when it opens and closes.

Does gate automation work with Siri, Alexa and Google?

Yes. Say "Hey Siri, open the gate" — or ask Alexa or Google Assistant.

What happens in a power cut?

Many gate motors can run on a backup battery, and every automatic gate can be released and opened by hand.
